Our website code does not set cookies, use browser storage, or run advertising pixels or visitor analytics scripts. Hosting logs and the host’s statistics are described below. Twitch is optional and stays disconnected until you choose to load a video.

If you email us, we process your address, message and any information you choose to include to answer your request. Our email provider is IONOS. Our basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or Article 6(1)(b) for a contractual enquiry. Messages are retained until the enquiry is resolved and any applicable legal retention or dispute-related need has ended.
Hosting & server logs
Our hosting provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The server receives connection information to deliver pages and protect the website.
IONOS documents logs containing the requested page or file, referrer, access time, browser and operating system, device type and anonymised IP address. Its Webhosting documentation specifies anonymisation on collection and retention of eight weeks.
IONOS WebAnalytics is enabled by default. It provides statistics and technical optimisation using log files or a pixel, without cookies; IONOS says IP addresses are anonymised immediately after transmission. This site does not include a WebAnalytics pixel.
Our basis for necessary hosting, security logs and anonymous aggregate statistics is our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). IONOS states that its Webhosting visitor data is not transferred outside the EU. Optional Twitch content has separate processing, described below.
Optional Twitch videos
Clips are provided by Twitch Interactive, Inc., 350 Bush Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Before you select “Load Twitch video”, our gallery uses only a local image and makes no connection to Twitch.
Loading sends Twitch your IP address, browser/device information and referring site. Twitch can use cookies and similar technologies for playback, analytics and advertising, and may associate activity with your Twitch account. Processing may occur in the US or other countries.
We load the player on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 25(1) TDDDG where device storage or access requires consent). This choice covers the gallery on the current page only. To withdraw, select “Stop & withdraw consent” under the player, or leave the page. We do not save your choice.
Stopping removes the player. It does not erase data already received or cookies already stored by Twitch. Twitch controls subsequent use and retention. Its notices and privacy controls are available at:

RestedXP affiliate links
Product links contain our affiliate identifier and a campaign label. They are not unique visitor IDs. We do not load RestedXP tracking scripts on this site.
Following a product link takes you to RestedXP, where the shop receives your connection data and referral information. It may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute purchases. RestedXP handles checkout, payments, accounts and orders under its own privacy policy and cookie choices. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases.
